HPT78 Clinical Biostimulating Mask — The Amplifier
Biostimulating Remodelling Amplification for Suitable Candidates.
Extend What Your Treatment Started.
The Cosmacure HPT78 is a medical-grade bio-cellulose biostimulating mask engineered to amplify the remodelling response in suitable candidates. Formulated around a high-performance peptide and collagen-stimulating complex, it engages fibroblast signalling pathways to extend and intensify the outcomes already initiated by the treatment — delivering measurable firming, lifting, and collagen synthesis support where the skin is primed to respond.
This is not a firming moisturiser. This is active biostimulation — a precision tool for the specific clinical moment when the skin is ready to be pushed further.
When to Select HPT78
Primary Protocol
Biostimulating Firming & Amplification
Selected when collagen stimulation and firming amplification are the primary clinical objective — for suitable candidates across all treatment types. Applied immediately post-treatment. The clinical decision between HPT78 and XT73 is based on patient assessment and treatment objectives.
Combined Protocol
With XT73 Restorative
Where XT73 is used in the immediate post-treatment window for barrier support and nourishment, HPT78 is introduced once barrier has stabilised (24–72h) to engage collagen-stimulating actives during the early remodelling window.
Candidacy assessment is required. HPT78 is not appropriate for all patients or all post-treatment states. Read the full candidacy guide and clinical research →

Primary Treatment Indications
For microneedling, HPT78 may be selected as the primary post-treatment mask in suitable candidates where collagen stimulation and firming outcomes are the clinical priority — in the same way a clinician may choose a deeper needling depth to prioritise structural remodelling. Where barrier recovery and optimal nourishment are the priority, XT73 is the appropriate selection. Both may also be used in combination — XT73 immediately post-procedure, HPT78 introduced from day 2–3 once barrier has stabilised.
The HPT78 Active Complex
| Active | Clinical Role |
|---|---|
| Matrixyl 3000 (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 & Tetrapeptide-7) | Stimulates fibroblast synthesis of procollagen I & III, fibronectin, and hyaluronic acid; extensively studied collagen-induction peptide complex |
| Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) | Binds EGFR on keratinocytes and fibroblasts; amplifies the remodelling cascade initiated by the treatment |
| Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 (Argireline) | Modulates SNARE complex signalling; reduces dynamic wrinkle formation and addresses the neuromuscular component of facial laxity |
| DMAE (Dimethylaminoethanol) | Delivers immediate visible skin tightening and contour lifting from first application |
| GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid) | Engages peripheral GABA receptors; mild muscular relaxation supporting the overall lifting and tightening outcome |
| Hydrolysed Collagen & Elastin | Bioavailable peptide fragments signal fibroblasts to upregulate native collagen and elastin synthesis |
| Stabilised Vitamin C & Niacinamide | Collagen co-factor; brightening and tone-evening support; barrier reinforcement |
The Bio-Cellulose Delivery Advantage
HPT78 uses the same medical-grade bio-cellulose substrate as the XT73 — produced through bacterial fermentation, not a standard sheet mask. When working with high-performance peptides and growth factors, delivery is everything:
Sustained-release kinetics
Peptide actives released slowly and consistently over the contact period — maximising receptor engagement rather than delivering a single rapid bolus
Second-skin conformity
Nanofibrillar structure conforms to every facial contour — no air gaps, continuous ingredient contact across jaw, cheek, and eye areas
Enhanced penetration
Drives actives more effectively into the epidermis than standard cotton or hydrogel carriers — particularly relevant in the post-treatment state
Cooling comfort post-device
Naturally soothing on post-RF and post-HIFU skin, delivering the active payload while calming any residual heat sensation
Application Protocol
Complete procedure. Confirm candidacy. For Protocol C (RF/HIFU/microcurrent), apply immediately. For Protocol B, confirm barrier has stabilised (24–72h post-XT73).
Apply HPT78 onto clean skin. Smooth from centre outward, moulding firmly to facial contours including jaw and neck.
Leave on for 20–25 minutes. Optimal contact time for peptide complex absorption and receptor engagement.
Remove and press remaining serum into skin using upward lifting motions — do not rinse.
Follow with SPF. Prescribe take-home HPT78 for 3–5 additional days or 2–3 applications per week ongoing.
Pro tip: For Protocol C post-RF or HIFU, apply HPT78 while skin is still slightly warm from the treatment. Elevated skin temperature enhances peptide penetration and compounds the collagen-stimulating response.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can HPT78 be used directly after RF or HIFU treatment? +
Yes — and this is one of its primary indications (Protocol C). RF and HIFU create a collagen-stimulating thermal response in the dermis without significant barrier disruption. Applying HPT78 immediately post-treatment introduces a targeted peptide signal that compounds the remodelling cascade at its peak. The bio-cellulose substrate also soothes any residual heat sensation. This is the cleanest, most direct application of the HPT78 amplification principle.
Can HPT78 be used after microneedling? +
Yes — including as the primary post-treatment mask in suitable candidates where collagen stimulation and firming outcomes are the clinical priority. Just as a clinician may choose a deeper needling depth to prioritise structural remodelling over minimising recovery time, HPT78 may be selected first where firming is the objective. Where barrier recovery, nourishment, and maximum comfort are the priority, XT73 is the appropriate selection. Both may also be used in combination — XT73 immediately post-procedure, HPT78 introduced from day 2–3 once barrier has stabilised. Candidacy assessment should always guide the decision.
What's the difference between HPT78 and XT73? +
XT73 is the first responder: barrier stabilisation, anti-inflammatory modulation, and support for the skin's endogenous repair cascade. It is appropriate for every patient and every treatment, with no contraindications. HPT78 is the amplifier: peptide-driven collagen stimulation, fibroblast activation, and remodelling response extension for suitable candidates. It requires candidacy assessment and is not appropriate for all patients or all post-treatment states. The selection between them is a clinical assessment decision based on the patient’s skin condition, treatment type, and primary clinical objective. Both may also be used in combination — XT73 first for barrier support and nourishment, HPT78 introduced once barrier has recovered — where clinically appropriate.
How quickly will clients see a firming result? +
Clients typically notice an immediate tightening and lifting sensation during the 20–25 minute application, driven by DMAE and the Argireline complex. Post-removal, visible contour improvement and skin firmness is apparent — particularly along the jawline, cheeks and under-eye area. The collagen synthesis benefits (Matrixyl 3000, EGF) compound over days to weeks of regular use.
Can clients use HPT78 at home between appointments? +
Yes — 2 to 3 applications per week at home significantly extends the clinical lifting results between treatments. Prescribing HPT78 as a take-home protocol strengthens outcomes, builds patient compliance, and generates retail revenue. A box of 5 is a natural starter prescription after an in-clinic RF, HIFU, or anti-aging treatment.
Is HPT78 suitable for all skin tones and types? +
For suitable candidates, yes. HPT78 is formulated without fragrance, essential oils, or known sensitisers. For Fitzpatrick IV–VI skin types with a history of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, refer to the candidacy guide — XT73 Restorative may be the more appropriate primary protocol, with HPT78 introduced cautiously and only after barrier recovery is confirmed.
Cosmacure Clinical Philosophy
Post-treatment skin that is ready to be biostimulated is different from post-treatment skin that needs to recover. HPT78 exists for the former — delivering active biostimulation at the precise clinical moment the skin is primed to respond. Knowing the difference is what the Cosmacure protocol system is built on.
